Train announcements are pretty garbled on good days though? But yeah voice recognition is still pretty bad - struggle with it in my car. Have to try and americanise what I’m saying.
I always used to think “automatic transcription is hard, mistakes are inevitable” until I realised even the most noisy mumbly country-accented American speech gets transcribed basically perfectly on YouTube and other places.

Rocked my interview this morning.
I’m gonna hate telling them I won’t be accepting the role.
Two more interviews lined up next week. Today’s was good practice.

I’m happy to get the interview practice though. I’ve got more interview lined up with that department so having a bit of a confidence boost goes a long way.

First run in my new runners this morning. Got a pb. Felt like I was running on cushions.
Miss Seagoon bought me some chocolate in Thailand.
Yellow curry flavoured chocolate. It was revolting.

Someone brought in Durian chocolate into work.
Most people didn’t know what a durian was but my parents used to eat them and they were revolting.
People got quite the surprise when they tried to eat the chocolate.

I was at the Coles deli today and the young lass stuck the barcode to her shirt and then couldn’t get it off so I said to her with a straight face “just don’t try to walk out of here because the gates won’t open”. She then laughed so hard she really couldn’t get it off.

I have the best news ever! My local Coles, which is a 5 minute stagger down the road is getting one of those 10c deposit bottle thingos. I just need to borrow a trolley now and I’m laughing. Today keeps getting better and better. 👍
