Weird story. Went to St. patricks cathedral with an ex and her aunt (who was a devout catholic). She was bangin’ on about how god was everywhere ‘like the internet’. ‘In walls, in the air’. A few hours earlier she asked me to set up her wifi / chuck in the router password on her phone to use ex’s internet at ex’s home… so I asked her if god forgets his password too.
Didn’t go down too well.

I have pastel highlighters, 72 pack of Derwents, erasable ink pens some with double eraser, 4 colour pens enough for everyone, a Windsor and Newton purple, fancy green fountain pen, pack of pilot pens, and an mega multicolour pen. Also box of Bics because they are an icon, and everyone gets a multi pack of coloured post-its because they were near the cashier and who can resist them.
Is there any other choice?

New phone probably arriving today. As a kid would’ve been excited but not these days so got an el’ cheapo crappy one (oppo something or rather).
Old iphone refuses to charge I think because of bringing into the ocean so many times and the charging port has corroded lol. Worth it though. Had to be replaced anyway but I’m glad it kicked the bucket doing what it loved.
I know that you mean. The excitement has pretty much evaporated for me as well.
this is the leading argument in my mind to jump ship every so often. Samsung to iphone? Huge. Samsung to Samsung or iphone to iphone? meh. Running my poor 13 into the ground till theres something worth upgrading, like the 120hz display on the new pros.
love new phone days! But yeah a cheap oppo is probably a bit hard to get excited about. Wont you not have a backup if your moving to a non-iphone?
Yea the backup is gonna be an issue. Don’t mind a clean slate though, sort of liberating.
except the photos and contacts, sure. i’ve got my photos tripled backed up.
30-60 minutes with a new phone, and it looks identical to my old phone. If I took a screenshot of my phone from 10 years ago, it’d be close enough to my present phone as to be indistinguishable.
Where they differ is the quality of the photos I take. I still took my DSLR around most of the time 10 years ago. I rarely bother these days. It still takes better photos, but the difference is not worth the effort unless I’m specifically going some place to take photos.

You don’t. Homegrown strawbs have spoiled me for life. As has homegrown asparagus, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers and green beans. And quite a lot of other veg that I haven’t grown for a while now. But home strawbs a pretty damn special.
man dont talk to me about tomatoes at the moment. tomatoes are probably the biggest stress point in my life right now. Got a decent amount but still very very green and the plants are clearly in distress.
Yep. Once the solstice happens, the plants start to go all yellow at the endy bits. Mine are looking pretty sad but the toms still keep coming. Still got a few still to ripen.
Omg! Just realised I will be able to put asparagus in the new garden. 💚
Yass! Nothing compares. I would suggest planting in pretty much pure compost in a barrel or similar. Once it starts to yield though be prepared for asparagus for breakfast lunch and dinner for a few weeks. But so so good.
I shall pickle it! Haven’t been able to find the supermarket one I like for ages. I have several Hex beds. Once I get the sunlight pattern figured out this is happening.
Now I really want to grow asparagus.

You can get the 100 pack of Maltofer for ≈$53.90 by price matching at Chemist Warehouse at the moment. There’s also a new catalogue starting tomorrow and it might be on special, usually they take it down to $55.
