We have it with hummus or toum (Aldi’s garlic dip is very close to this) but you don’t usually eat it with a sauce. Normally you’d eat them with tabbouleh.
Cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, gherkins go well with them.
Also when I make them I use mini lebanese bread but regular still works.

Honestly that’s most of McPeake’s staff. They have the gov contracts for all (or almost all) government owned houses (including the housing commission flats and child protection properties), so they act with immunity. I don’t know whether they’re stuck in a long contract, there’s some kind of kickback system happening, or what, but they do really low quality work

Look up the phrase ‘diamond pure’ sometime. It’s the technical term for dog shit that’s turned white in the sun. Used to be used a lot for tanning fine leather for bookbinding and gloves. Back in my grandparents day kids could earn pocket money gathering it off the street and selling it to the tanneries. Those ‘pure’ t shirts still give me quiet giggles.

If you’ve a regular pharmacist I’ve heard they can prescribe you a few days worth to tide you over until the doc sorts a repeat out.
I tried that but because it’s a stimulant there’s really tight regulations around it.

Lol @ 12 hours sleep, this isn’t one upping it’s just sharing a story: I once went to sleep (not bed) at 2:30-ish AM after being awake for a ridiculous number of hours and woke up and was super confused at it being 1am. I thought the clocks had gone back haha. Those missed calls and msgs… Priceless memories lol.

Is it? Counting is kinda of the point, but I only really pay attention to Solstices.
I’ve found that the equinox really kicks off growth in the garden. More than warm weather or wet weather does. I think its the tipping point where daylight hours overtake nighttime hours.

Been ages since I had alcohol, and I can feel every cell of my body hates me.
I’m making friends with the maggies that come here, letting them see my face and dropping a few little treats.
Sometimes I throw a few pieces of high quality dry cat food (nutritionally complete, high protein and grain free). I had some dried mealworms but unsure where they are. Today I threw some small whole dried fish.
I don’t give bread or mince, being aware of calcium deficiencies or food getting stuck on beaks. And I don’t give it frequently or in excessive quantities
I too put out high quality complete cat crunchies if magpies come. 🙂
And since I put food out for the sparrows and doves last week nearly all the aphids in the terrace garden have been gonned.
I’m not a fan for how early the sun is coming up lately.
I think we need to readjust things a bit to fix that. I propose we all adjust our clocks so that sunrise is an hour later in the day. Who’s with me?
