      13/14

Helps growing up in a country where a mix of both spellings are used.

      14/14

Edit: I do have to say that I’ve always known tidbits as tidbits and not titbits… Interesting.

13/14 Damn difficult to work out from the questions which of the two countries to answer for - had to really concentrate. Or maybe I need a holiday to get my brain on straight.

11/14 - that was fun! It was cool to see what my instinct told me vs when I was a bit overwhelmed.

      I got 11/14. I messed a few up though. Couldn’t remember if…

      spoilers

Couldn’t remember if traveller had 1 or 2 L’s so I took a guess. I forgot the U.S. spells curb with a k, and I’ve never seen anyone spell it sceptical, at least that I’ve consciously noticed, so I just assumed k was the traditional and only correct spelling, not a weird American variation

Also I’ve never seen anyone write “titbit”, or even say it like that. I think at least here, tidbit has taken over as the preferred spelling and pronunciation. I still got it right though

Helps if you remember that in the UK ‘tit’ is a general term for a very small bird. Such as Bluetits etc. And mammary glands are pronounced ‘tit’ but spelled ‘teat’. The UK really does have crazy spelling in some respects.
I got the curb/kerb one wrong.

Yep, kerb/curb got me, and so did manoeuvring lol. Prolly because I don’t know how to spell manoeuvring without autocorrect 😂😂
