Couldn’t remember if traveller had 1 or 2 L’s so I took a guess. I forgot the U.S. spells curb with a k, and I’ve never seen anyone spell it sceptical, at least that I’ve consciously noticed, so I just assumed k was the traditional and only correct spelling, not a weird American variation
Also I’ve never seen anyone write “titbit”, or even say it like that. I think at least here, tidbit has taken over as the preferred spelling and pronunciation. I still got it right though
Helps if you remember that in the UK ‘tit’ is a general term for a very small bird. Such as Bluetits etc. And mammary glands are pronounced ‘tit’ but spelled ‘teat’. The UK really does have crazy spelling in some respects.
