How do you say Melbourne and can you spell it out phonetically for me please
The Mel part is like Mao as in chairman Mao. The Bourne part is more like Ben but as if a Kiwi says it so it’s more like b’n. Now you put them together Maob’n = Melbourne. Completely exceptable to throw an l in the middle.

Yeah I kinda say melbun but like real quick on the end letters or melbin
Another way to put it is that it’s like ‘melb’ followed by the sound of the ‘en’ of the word ‘given’
