The railways take that sort of behaviour very seriously - not just the vilification laws apply here. Remember the emergency button next to each door - it’s there for this purpose.

there was a young kid who got off at the same station as me, he was a witness in the same carriage but at the other end and he helped with details for the cops. He was a little shook up.

Edit: I’ve also thought that it’s really dumb to make people push the emergency button in plain view of an aggressive arsehole, especially if you’re required to verbally give the carriage number or tell them the situation. Because that might draw the aggression onto the person alerting the driver and even escalate the situation. I know there’s STOP IT but that’s non-urgent and wouldn’t get real time help
