Is it Hot Take Thursday? I think it is. Anyway my hot take is: Milo is not that great. It’s ok on ice cream or the occasional hot drink but it’s pretty bland.
Mine were, lol… both were pretty keen on doing a runner as soon as they were released from the confines of a stroller/car/parent, and I had foot issues after the 2nd pregnancy (plantar fasciitis for example) so i didn’t fancy my chances of hobbling after them. My chase-hobbling looked like a John Cleese silly walk on speed so the cuddly toy baby leash backpack was employed. When my mum passed away and I was clearing out the cupboards I found a 70s baby leash with parental wrist strap… looks like the apple didn’t run far from the tree 😆
My kid was too. Not because she was a runner but because little kids arms get tired from having their arm raised so if she did let go I still had control over her movements.
Excuse my brain:
John Cleese & Bill Nighy silly walk stalking toddlers to an Attenborough overdub
He peers at it with bulging eyes and an over extended neck The toddler scones it’self on a coffee table in the fourth suicidal attempt since teatime. One male prances in a hopefully distracting manner, while the other juggles 28 cleaning products. There has been an incident, he must evolve or nobody is getting a pretty blue thing.
I understand that it’s now OK to do this - apparently having the kid on a leash/harness means they “can explore their world with both hands” rather than going through life with one hand raised up above their head in their mother’s grasp. Apparently the leash/harness is good for brain development and posture. I’m from the first generation where such harnesses were not OK (the Dr Spock baby in person), and I sorta kinda get where they’re coming from. Also a less stressed mum.

You’ve just gotta put 10 tablespoons in and then layer it on top of the milk so it’s all crunchy.
I think Nestlé deliberately made Milo Hydrophobic so you’re compelled to add more thus buying more.
Most children under 5 should be leashed

Lol that’s good, only need to add a gladiator style ring of audience members judging 😆
heh…
Actually saw that recently at the shops and wasn’t quite sure how to feel about it.

That everyone as well as kids <5 need ankle bracelets that deliver an electric current when they’re not walking on the left of footpaths.
Nothing crazy… maybe 220,000 volts or so.
I think if you have a toddler, you and the kid should be implanted with a magnet and it automatically activates in carparks.
Depends how much Milo is used. Needs half a cup of Milo powder to get any taste. I don’t buy it any more. Too $$$$$$
I prefer not to have to chew my drink.
who said Milo is a drink?
Booo!
I tried the aldi one and found it pretty gross. My mum used to “make” her own with sugar and cocoa powder. Honestly I rate that.
Lord of the Rings movie : kinda boring and a serious lack of Tom Cruise🔥
What role, exactly, do you envision Tom Cruise in? Because I’m imagining him as Gandalf and I can’t stop laughing
Gandalf is supposed to be like 8’ tall 🤣
He is often stood on a box purportedly. But plastering stilts are probably more the go for that role. 🤭
Haha yes!
“ Look to my coming, on the first light of the fifth day…and then you will SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!””
Sméagol!
I think Tom would make a great Alfrid Lickspittle. Would be nice to see him in a supporting role and not the hero for once.
I hate Macs
Fast food, overcoats, Scottish people??
Maybe Apple?
Oh yes, silly me
The computer
Ah! I’ve not tried a recent one. Adored my Macs until they got up to the weird coloured ones. Got an emulator for some of the games 😺
It and I just don’t seem to be jiving for the things I do most often
It used to be better. Now it’s so expensive for what it is.
Bring back the original Milo bars I say.
My god they were good, even if I looked like a cartoon character who consumed alum afterwards.
The OG Milo ice cream cups from the swimming pool kiosk!
I agree with your hot take, although I guess that makes it a cold take
