I don’t think I can finish this bottle of QV wash.
Maybe it seems a bit picky but my skin is genuinely raw and irritated even just using it on my body.
And the QV moisturiser makes my face burn. What is going on? What did they put in this stuff?
Cerave works for me so probably not? I’m seeing SLS in the wash and it’s very foamy so probably too harsh a cleanser. Not sure with the moisturiser - maybe a preservative
That really sucks. Its always been so reliable. As far as moisturiser goes have you tried just plain shea butter, or shea butter + almond oil? Its been a while since I made my own moisuriser (I have very dry skin so I tend to just use almond oil now and I’ve forked out for a fancy face moisturiser that’s doing the trick) but you can buy shea butter in bulk, melt and mix with the oil to make it spreadable. I found it very plain and nice, but it is probably best for quite dry skin as its pretty heavy.

My skin never usually hurts like this.
Have you tried Cetaphil? I’ve got really sensitive skin and that’s one thing that seems to be ok
Unforch they changed Cetaphil too
Toss that QV. if it burns it’s not good for you. The Palmolive wash did that to me and it was bad.
I use Redwin sorbalene wash, I don’t seem to have any reactions to it. You could try moving to dermaveen but you need to stop using the QV wash.
Yeah I think I’ll give up on it
what kind of sponge/loofah scrubber are you using? That could be too rough.
have you tried pears soap
Wondered if that was the issue so I just used hands
Lotta ceramides in that, are you allergic to those, possibly?

I have to be a bit careful with oil as it seems to encourage malassezia.
