Do you reckon high schools would 1. keep copies of year books from decades ago and 2. send them out to former students? I’ve been thinking about my high school years and don’t remember a whole lot about it. I don’t have the year books anymore and would be nice to take a trip down memory lane. I figure there might be privacy concerns or whatever, but thought it might be worth contacting my old high school and seeing.

High schools have a high chance of keeping a copy for archive purposes. They usually won’t send out their past copies as they’re limited in numbers.

It probably won’t be online due to privacy.

Wonder if they digitised them. I may as well ask and see what they say.

Someone would have a digital copy I reckon if they use a printer to publish them.

Hahahaha you underestimate how old some of us are. 😃

I promise my year book was not made in Microsoft Publisher.

Sorry. I didn’t mean to be insensitive.

If you need help finding your year books might I refer you to some of the cave paintings that have been preserved?

              😁

But the river by the school has flooded many times since the 80’s. Odds are the cave paintings have been severely water damaged - if not washed away entirely in that time.

Oh also to add some schools in the interest of preserving history may digitise older copies to preserve them.

Can’t hurt to reach out to the school or alumni and ask.

Sometimes it’s published online, you can try a Google search.
