I’m glad I managed to move most of my plants back to my balcony today despite the exhaustion. Apparently a couple toppled on the central balcony while I was away, leaving a bit of a mess with the potting mix. Friend who watered them while I was away did her best to tidy up but I’m hoping some of the wind and rain washes it away and my relocated plants stay upright.
I had a few pots blow over too, and it’s definitely getting wimdier now. Tonight is not going to be fun. We had a transformer fried possum further down the street too, so our power is a bit patchy while they fix it. Would not like to be a powerline mender in this weather.
Ugh, patchy power in this weather is a double whammy. But I’d hope there are plenty of safety precautions and limitations on workers going out to do repairs in this kind of weather. My colleagues up in the hills will not be having a great time, probably…
Just put my bins out - it’s getting wimdy out there.
Thanks for the reminder!
Sort of suspect you’re gonna have to go to the end of the street to get the bin tomorrow. The bom app is pinging away alerts.
