Yep - the one near Merri Creek. It’s been a while, forgive me. I remember being bitterly disappointed when I got there and saw the track. I did a couple of laps, but it was effectively unusable.
I honestly couldn’t see who would ride there with the surface in that state.
I’ve only ridden past the velodrome on the Merri Creek Trail, I’ve never been there myself. The track is pretty lit up on the Strava heatmap so it must see some use
The centre of the ground is in regular use during the day as a place to train your dog to fetch. Also, the weekends are frantically busy there with several bike clubs sharing the space. Probably not high high performance, but for the weekend rider it’s adequate. The weekend coffee van does a very nice latte.
There’s an ebike expo on this weekend at the Brunswick Velodrome. I’ve seen internet in ebikes in these threads so I thought I’d share:

Is that velodrome still the worst bit of bitumen to ride on ever? Or has it been re-sealed in the past few years?
It’s concrete, not bitumen. If you are talking about the velodrome down near Merri Creek, that is.
