minus-squareDuenanlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up7·1 year agoSo cold. Huddled under blankets and reheating little wheat packs to keep myself warm and I can hear the wind picking up outside. Thankfully just ate dinner or what passes for it so hoping to warm myself up again. Settled in for the night playing movies. Maybe might make a late night hot tea. Hope everyone else is able to stay warm tonight and have a relaxing time.
minus-squareTinyBreaklinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up8·1 year agoHave you got one of those heated throws? They are amazing!
minus-squareDuenanlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·1 year agoSadly not. I thought about it once but right now I’m not able to afford one for awhile, just using what I have on hand. Wearing a beanie too! They seem really nice to use and I think they’re pretty energy efficient right? Maybe if I can get my tax return done early I might have a chance.
minus-squaredumblederplinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·1 year agoFWIW I use a cheap single electric blanket instead of a slightly less cheap heated throw. They’re also super cheap on the power use. eg, $24 from target - https://www.target.com.au/p/celsius-fitted-electric-blanket-celebfp-q/67505739

FWIW I use a cheap single electric blanket instead of a slightly less cheap heated throw. They’re also super cheap on the power use. eg, $24 from target - https://www.target.com.au/p/celsius-fitted-electric-blanket-celebfp-q/67505739
How do you find it personally?

Very creative!
