Is it normal to feel tired during the day and like you can’t think or properly get words out?

I’ve noticed I’ve been really slow over the past bit, fatigued, tired and spacey. My cognitive tempo is sluggish. I don’t know what’s wrong with my brain. Ironically, I think it’s the caffeine. I don’t really remember too much of life before I started consuming caffeine, but I don’t think I was this bad. I’m sick of having no energy to do things, and experiencing heart palpitations and nausea.

Until there’s decaf matcha, I’m going to have to give it up.

(lack of) Vitamin D / Iron do this to me. And just general overwhelm/stress - I find myself not finding words, forgetting names, etc. Then I will crash out for a day or two and reset. I have never gone without caffiene so can’t comment - I’ll give up everything else but my morning espresso.

I also sometimes get on the ginko tablets after a virus etc - I find it helps a little with brainfog, for me,

Interesting, I have had covid three times, and I wonder if it’s a long covid thing. I almost want to be someone who researches the pathophysiology behind things like this, because I am too curious about how things like viruses and hormones interact with our brains and other organs at the cellular level.

Have some vitamins hehe :) when was the last time you got bloods done?

Can also be thyroid or test (if you’re a male).

I quit coffee about six months ago and steer clear of caffeine these days. I reckon I feel better for it.

I dunno if I’ve mentioned it but I like that you carried your random generated username over.

Cheers, my thyroid has always been fine, but you never know. I just don’t have the balls to go get it checked :D

There’s also the basics: water, quality food, sleep, exercise.
