    Noooo. It’s not the same. The only way to make it is with garlic, salt, lemon and a shitload of oil. And about 10 minutes of blending.

      Second this - toum is the BEST garlic dip/sauce/concentrated essence of yum. And so bloody easy to do. And keeps for a month in the fridge so its worth it to make a shittonne of the stuff.

      I’ve done it that way and it’s a kind of mayonnaise type emulsion and it is definitely delicious but I’m lazy and always trying to cut calories

        Yeah I get that. I make it but I also buy it. The Aldi one is spot on.

        When I make it we all gotta eat it or you will die by garlic breath fumes.
