That feeling of safety should hopefully return soon back to 100%.

Such a fucked situation that no doubt people in these agencies should have prepared for.

Don’t let them get away with not replacing your stuff. That’s the least they can do.

I already had a fairly low opinion of the department of human services. And yet they still continue to fuck up.

That’s why they rebrand every 2 years, silly! Since 2013 I think it’s gone DHHS > DHS & DoH > DHHS > DFFH & DoH. They split and merge the department of health and the department of human services more often than Melbourne rebrands public transport agencies and operators. For now, it’s the department of families, fairness, and housing, until they want to merge the department of health in again

DFFH always sounded like someone trying to say DHHS with a potato in their mouth, which is apt

I always thought “fairness” sounded strangely informal. Like why aren’t they the department of equality or something? “Fairness” just sounds wrong to me

It’s got 1984 (the book) vibes. The Ministry of Fairness.

Never read it, but I keep hearing about it. Is it a good book?

Classic dystopia novel. It’s not a long read I read it in high school at your age.
