Fridge cleaning day today. Luckily I clean my fridge often enough that nothing really goes bad, or gets pushed to the back and forgotten about, but I do have some veggies that I probably should’ve composted a week ago to deal with

And there’s also a mystery liquid on one of my shelves. It’s sticky, and I don’t know where TF it came from

Ahem, re: mystery liquid. This is probably a random gift from the cosmos, but MIGHT be related to a recent flyby by Cthulhu. If so, washing the liquid off with a mild dish soap solution followed by your preferred exorcism ritual will probably take care of the problem. It’s a good idea to remove any other vegetables from your fridge before trying this - potatoes have been known to grow eyes if you know what I mean.

Haha yeah lol. I think the mystery liquid was spilled by one of the roomates before he moved out, I’m pretty sure it’s honey. I took my shelf outside and sprayed it with the hose on blasty mode and that actually worked really well. Unfortunately it did seep under the veggie crisper so I’ve gotta deal with that, but it’s not too bad.

The veggies weren’t too bad. Apparently I did forget about some strawberries which molded over, but they didn’t smell and were in a punnet so it was fine. Besides that it was just some tomatoes and a capsicums wrinkling up. Nothing leaked though which I call an absolute win
