Apparently my daycare did a “Lockdown” drill today. Got me thinking how quickly I could get down there with a cricket bat.
Assuming I FLOG the SHIT out of the car (which of course, you would), reckon we could turn a 10 minute drive into 2 if I disabled all the safety systems on the car.
And that is an ABSOLUTLEY terrifying thought. How do people have kids in America!?
Lockdowns are more scary for the parents than they are for the kids. My daughter’s primary school was in lockdown because a brown snake entered the yard so not all intruders are 2 legged.
It’s a standard drill now. I suspect this is a hyperbolic comment but please do not put yourself and other peoples lives in danger by “flogging it” and then adding to the confusion at the site amongst emergency responders.

this happened in downtown detroit when i lived there 12 years ago
the public wasn’t told, it was a services and government drill
