My cherry tart is complete, now I just have to work out how to get it safely to my sister’s place. I’m also not sure if it is going to be safe to take it out of the tin - the filling rose a bit high and has stuck to the sides a bit, trying to remove it could lead to a total collapse. At least the jar of vanilla custard should be stress free.

Leave in tin for transport - then get someone else to remove it from the tin so it’s their fault if it collapses.
Cut in half, put half in a container and the other half in your belly.
Problem solved….
Or I could just make another one tomorrow for my belly - I have plenty of cherries!
Leave it in the tin during transport. Put on plate when ready to serve.
I think this will be the safest method.
