    Maybe a hoodie in something light and diaphanous, in lace maybe. With pockets of course, but definitely a hoodie for hot weather. Call it a sunburn prevention hoodie … This could catch on.

        I bet somewhere like Uniqlo has something like that. Otherwise maybe a store that sells middle eastern style clothes. We need to stop copying european and US fashion and mirror the places that have our climate

            I have these thin, stretchy trousers I wear to work in summer. They’re so light, you can tell they were made for humid climates

            Nup. Nothing to worry about with respect to dressing for the weather. Appropriation is when you try to make money out of snitching other cultures’ good ideas. I will happily wear a sarong, even though it’s not my culture. If I did dress to my culture only, I’d be wearing wool next to the skin all year round. Stuff that for a game of soldiers.
