Been watching way too much Alter, a YT channel that showcases indie horror short movies (the longest one I’ve seen is 30mins, the shortest is just under 5mins).
Last night I was sleeping on the couch (for the aircon), and I woke suddenly. I looked up and saw my partner facing away from me, facing the fridge, butt nekkid. He then sidestepped and seemed to rush away down the hallway out of sight.
For less than a second that felt like an eternity, my lizard brain said “oh shit I’ve manifested horror in my house wtf wtf wtf” until my logical rational brain kicked in and made me yell “hey!”
He came back shocked, I scared him 😂😭
Slept in the bed the rest of the night.
I can’t get that image of him out of my head, facing away nude and seeming inhumanly fast when he went down the hallway. 😂😂
I mean, I’m gonna watch more today anyway because I’m a horror fiend, but maaaan that felt so wild 😂

Did the channel showcase this one? Curve…I saw it a few years ago and it still pops into my head every now and then…
I’m not sure if Alter showcased that one, but I have seen it. Absolutely terrifying! I cringe so much just thinking of it shudders
