I like when I “make friends” with cars on my commute, begin to recognize the same cars/number plates… but then I feel sad for us because we’re stuck in the same shitty traffic.
I ride past some regulars on the way to and from work. Same people walking, jogging, walking their dogs. I even recognise a couple of the cyclists. There’s this big dofus of a dog that I kid you not has dreadlocks. I see the dog/owner most mornings and it always brightens my day.
