WA had a three year trial from 2007-2009. It was fine, but they had a referendum and voted against adopting it. But everyone spent three years talking about it.
I moved to Melbourne in 2008. Melbourne didn’t talk about Daylight Savings by comparison, nobody seemed to mention it at all. You just adjusted your clocks and went about your day. It was refreshing. By about 2012, most of the clocks would adjust themselves.

Most Melburnians just get on with it but there were a few complaints on the lesser dt a few days ago. I hate wowsers.
