I used this colour on a small flip top student desk to great effect . I tried applying a gold leaf scrimshaw design around the edges and failed miserably haha. So had to keep it simple with just the stain.
ta da, first coat of stain/varnish is done, it’s much nicer than I thought it would be, such a good product!

I’m going to make some big scatter cushions as well to match and some of the fabrics have silver or gold thread. Just a tiny touch of gilding effect 👍
