The goddess Anoia will be pleased to accept the dumpling maker as another item to be stuck in drawers. Along with all those silly little corn cob holders shaped like ears of corn and the spare lemon squeezer and of course the spare ladle.

I have 2 of those hand held squeezers because I picked the pretty green one and it took me a while to realise it’s for limes so I had to buy a yellow one too for the lemons.

I have an orange one, bought on the basis that the smaller fruit would also fit.

I know right because the orange one is pretty and so is the grapefruit one but I had to stop myself because I have an old fashioned squeezer or 3 already.

Do not fall down the rabbit hole of onion savers or avocado savers. Besides, since when has anyone ever had to put half an onion back in the fridge for another day?

O oh. Too late she cried as she waved her wooden leg. I have onion, avocado, lemon and tomato ones. I’m a sucker for pretty coloured containers. sigh

I very frequently put half onions back in the fridge. I have a set of silicon cover things that you can just put on the end which work really well. If you cut an avocado the “wrong” way so the cut end is round they also work for them - with the bonus that it is easy to cut into thirds or other amounts if you don’t want a half. I also have lots of little containers that get used for various cut bits and pieces. One of the perks of single live.
