Check the dog’s bed. Can’t remember if you have a cat or not, but if you do, then check that bed too.

Facts. I recently spent half a frantic hour trying to look for my keys, not long after I’d locked myself out in the morning and had to get a locksmith to come bail me out - here I was thinking I was unlucky with keys. But no, the cat had decided to keep them safe and warm.

She bamboozled me again when I couldn’t find her anywhere, thought she’d escaped, looked outside for half an hour, nearly going into the neighbours place, came back in despondent, tried jiggling the food tin and delicious aromatic snacks etc, no luck… Was about to panic text the owner and then as I walk back through a room I’d been in countless times… I spot an extremely well camouflaged lump in an unexpected location, fast asleep like nothing had ever happened. Dammit, cat!!!

Yeah nah. I had a look and it’s not there. Usually when he takes things he shows them to me. I don’t have a cat.

Um, handbag? Mine is a sort of Well of Lost Items, which I only discover when I have to change bags for some reason.

No. I found it. My handbag is pretty tidy but I still looked in there. Thanks for your help.
