I am embarrassed to say I just could not finish this movie, it just didn’t work for me.
The sets were beautiful, the costuming lovely. The jokes were passe, too many riffs off the series Sherlock with Cumberbatch. Too many jokes just too rude or not even funny.
Maybe it could have been edited better. 🤷♀️ 2 hobbits.
I enjoy that it has a 3.9/10 rating on imdb. I’m not a Will Ferral fan and seeing his name puts me off a movie. I acknowledge I may have missed some hits (okay, I’ve seen Elf), but worth it for me.

I think I managed 20 minutes of it before turning it off. And I can generally deal with Ferrell, even at his crappiest.

I loved him in Stranger Than Fiction, in Zoolander, he has uncredited cameos in movies like Idiocracy.
I think he’s good, he needs a good director , he needs to stop choosing crap
Mugatu was an amazing role for him.
I walked out of Rushmore. Well it was dull, I went for a smoke, decided not to go back.
