I’ve got a meeting Monday with an SLT member. If the outcome of this meeting is poor, I’ll be retracting my request for a raise and moving on.

The straw has broken the camels back.

Nah. Dont make it explicit. just say “You understand the consequences of this. right? you understand what this may cost the business?” Let the threat be unsaid but hang in the air. gives you more maneuverability and them a second change to ponder the risks involved.

The workload is untenable man. We had a client offboard who had historic issues with the larger org.

The owner of the company that got sold rang him today in what I assume was a check to see if I’m worth the raise.

There was no chance of saving this client. First time I met the guy he straight up said “I’m not renewing”

The client was unhappy because he felt “ignored”. We have weekly meetings. I action everything he asks for.

There’s literally nothing else I could do.

        Not good enough apparently.

Too much work, not enough time. Stress when not working. Constantly worried about work. No time to just relax.

If I get a better offer, im out. If I get the raise, I’m waiting till I’ve moved house then I’m out.

If I don’t get the raise I’m stuck here till I move house first.
