anyone of an electronics bent? I’m puzzling out how to make a power failure beacon light.

Like as a piece of art or as a functional response to power failure? How would it work?

thinking something like a relay that’s held open by current, then closes when current’s lost. Would need a separate power supply to power the light, but that’s easy.

Basically: UPS feed cleaning gets read as an issue by the RCD. Rarely happens, but I was gonna put the server rack on its own circuit anyway, and I’ve ripped out the UPS beeper because fuck that shit three feet from me. I want to know when the trip happens. Currently I know because my main rig runs on the same circuit lol
