With private insurance, I get a ~$200/yr annual allowance. Curiously, some optometrists have sales of glasses for ~$200. Pure coincidence, I’m certain.
Anyway, I effectively get glasses for free (I don’t, private health insurance is expensive) and was browsing on the weekend for something I don’t actually desperately need because that allowance expires in 8 weeks.
gotta order new sunnies. i think it was 1k last time just for the lenses! Guarantee you when I finally order the sunnies my damn prescription will change again as well!
the SECOND my prescription stabilizes i am getting it done. I look good in glasses (if I do say so myself) but having them force fed to me every so often by tinyest aint a ton of fun!

The need to carry prescription sunnies is almost all the motivation I need to get laser. Such a PITA.
