At our hardware deployment centre here at work, they have a little machine for applying screen protectors, that at first glance looks a little bit similar to one of those old school credit card manual kerchunkyslidey things (me English gud).

Install the ‘insert’ for the model phone you’re applying it to, drop the phone in, put the protector in the guides, kerchunk-kerchunk, perfectly aligned and applied screen protector every time.

It’s seriously like cheat mode. No way you could ever do it that perfectly by hand every time.

Holy shit, that is genius! I’ve seen those ones you can by from AliExpress for like a buck before, but I’ve never tried it. I don’t think it’d do a good job though, looks kinda flimsy

Yeah these things definitely aren’t AliExpress specials, they’ve got a bit of heft to them.

I’m certain many mobile phone stores who do these screen protector installs have one out the back, they just take the phone to the machine and BAM, perfection.
