pinned threads where?
I think it’s a federation bug, when I still was on my lemm.ee account, the unpinning isn’t getting synced.

What a fascinating issue! No, I have no idea what’s going on, here. It’s clearly some sort of federation bug. The pin request is federating, but the unpin is not.
I’ve checked six other lemmy instances, they all have extra Melbourne Daily threads pinned. They each agree that
Should all be pinned. I don’t know what November and December 26 have in common, I wonder whether they’re Lemmy version upgrade dates? There was one at Christmas time, I’ll have to double-check the exact date.
Beyond those dates, five of the six instances had random dates pinned (though two of them had 01 Jul 2023) still.
This isn’t affecting aussie.zone users.
Upgrade dates might make sense, or it’s a left over when aussie.zone was having a few synchronisation problems with servers that weren’t on 0.18 at the time. They might have just not unpinned properly.
Is this a thread where posts are only allowed by mods?
Sorry, just realised I mentioned you with no context about what this is. Anybody’s allowed to post the daily threads, and anybody can comment in them. They get pinned until days end when a new one is posted and the old one is unpinned
