I showed it to her and she said to tell you that it’s very cute and she loves it very very much.
Lets pretend I didn’t just take a photo of the Aldi catalogue and that I made it… I mean… I plan on making that later for myself… If I can be motivated to boil some water and slice up left over roast pork.
It’s been one of those days, microwaved some baked beans for the kids and poured myself a dark and stormy.
If you do add an egg then that’s gourmet in my book.
Mash potatoe… Skin on or off?

I’ll peel them for mash but I’ve left them on before heaps of times it just depends on how I’m feeling.
We like the crunch/texture of the skin in the smooth mash.
Started doing maybe 15yrs ago because it was pre-kids and a little drunk. 🤣
You see those cooking shows were they use a ricer and heat the milk and it comes out like baby food. Um no thanks. I like chunks. I’m not scared to chew.

Thanks mate. My secret to good mash is using Spud Lite. They’re creamy, soft and mash really well. My go to gravy, if I don’t make it from scratch, is Green’s granules gravy with a splash of milk in it.
