Gonna make a shitload of spring rolls today and rebuild The Stash™.

Putting in heaps of the coriander forest because that’s gonna bolt in this 420ppm the nino AMOC ice extent SSTA six sigma tic tac madness.

Also lots of chilli going in from last season that’s in the freezer. I’ve found if you put red food dye on the uncooked pastry (as a warning), it actually stays a very bright red after deep frying.

        climate heh. Bear with me…

420ppm is CO2 parts per million El nino AMOC = Atlantic meridional overturning circulation. Ppl worried it’s slowing. Antarctic ice extent SSTA = sea surface temperature anomaly six sigma = six standard deviations away from the mean for both north atlantic SSTA and Antarctic sea ice extent tic tac is the alien ship from the recent UFO revelations that’s (some believe) come to save our climate and corianders.

I read a lot of doom porn :(

Where’s the bit where the old man yells at clouds?

It’s true, we’re fucked. I vote for Kodos.

Wait, so are you planting more coriander because it is more likely to run and therefore produce less leafy growth due to the climate/lack of alien intervention… or putting more in the spring rolls to enjoy now while it can still be grown? Or something else?

Given the warm temps and without tic tac intervention, the little 1m2 crop I have is bolting :( It’s to enjoy it now when it’s full of fluffy green foliage.

I’ve never seen it start to go into seed mid winter. Maybe it’s a false spring?

Is it just overgrown? I’ve kept coriander plants growing for about 18 months by pinching off all the flowers and things but after a while it just wants to procreate and die

I’m guessing they are way too crowded. It’s like a little rug this year. Will commence pinching tm methinks.

The aliens came all this way just to save coriander? Surely there is more worthy of saving than that? Like penguins. And Rhinosaurus Beetles.
