Round about menopause I gave up on women’s antiperspirants. I now get the Aldi mens 48 hour sport one. Effective, not highly perfumed, dries quickly and doesn’t irritate me except for the day after shaving the pits. So I go without deo on that day and most weekends.
You have to remember that it’s not the armpit that smells as such, it’s the accumulated dead bacteria that clings to the hairs/skin folds. Daily wash with soap is essential, but deo as such may not be. I really only use deo on work days where I won’t be able to wash if I get sweaty and smelly - like riding my bike to work and back.
I go without on weekends too, unless I’m doing something. Funnily enough I’ve found the mens deos are usually ok, although some of them smell like slightly masculine fly spray😆but I’ll definitely give ALDI a go. I have to wear for work, as my job is physical and factory is hot.
