even before the moon landing all us kids had the space madness , it was huge in the 60s, astronauts were like rock stars, . I was 7 years old when I watched the moon landing , I knew what walking was, I knew what rockets were, I knew the moon, even so, the significance was lost on me. I did know it was special because the adults said so. When I was a few years older I used to go to the aerospace museum at tullamarine airport and would see displays of life size lunar lander ( Eagle) , dioramas and even a real moon rock. That was pretty cool and made it more real.
Do you remember how it made you feel watching it or having watched it?

That sounds so amazing and must have made a massive impression on you for you to be so interested in it all.
Of course it did. It was exciting, it had cool machines and astronauts ( who were super smart ) , there was exploration of the unknown.
I still think it’s cool. :)
