I didn’t sleep well so I might as well have just stayed up and watched the entire thing.

Still glad I got to see the double century from Maxwell where he cramped up majorly. That was a match for the ages.

It was pretty good. At the start of the Aussies innings you would’ve seen the sea of blue in the stands. Towards the end the stadium was quickly emptying because you could see the seats were red.

I too stayed and watched the whole thing. First time watching cricket. Getting up now.

Wow. What did you think of it? Will you be watching more of it in future?

Yes but not WATCH watch because it lasts way too long. More like something I’ll have on while I do stuff.

Yeah 50 overs each is a long match. That’s why I like BBL. 20 overs each. Night games. Players get mic-ed up and just go out there, have fun and slog them for six for charity. A really good atmosphere.

Cricket is the perfect background sports on TV. I always associate it with having family or family friends over and people chat/eat/do other stuff during the lull periods. Then everyone drops what they’re doing when something exciting is about to happen. Rinse and repeat.
