Tbh I’d do train. I know I’m a bit biased, but even with the trains probably being fairly busy, they will be air conditioned, most likely won’t get stuck in traffic, and you can probably have more fun with your niece if you aren’t driving
Kinda leaning towards it. The main downside is we can’t stay as late as we’re restricted by train timetables so she can still make it for her curfew. But it’ll be such a long day I kind of don’t want to drive after dark for 2 hours after this long week either. And frankly it’ll be cheaper to take the train than all the petrol
