What’s with all the people complaining about kids taking all the Halloween treats? They just leave a bowl out there , what do they expect.
You’re supposed to decorate yer house a little, make a welcome sign then wait for kids to knock on your door. The kids say trick or treat and you decide. If no treat they can trick you. Give nice treats and maybe have something Halloweeny to do. They wear cute costumes and you get to talk with kids and community. It’s meant to be interactive and fun.

the videos look like karma farming exercises. 🙄🙄🙄
No. I put out a box to avoid traumatising the cat who is terrified of children. That does not mean each is welcome to take fist fulls.
You meant well but if shits not nailed down people will take it. 😔
Then put the cat in a room at the back of the house for a few hours.
No. They live here. Random kids don’t.
Fucking hell I actually find children generally repugnant That I put out lollies is a gift not an entitlement.
I need candles. Please deliver you fat young ones for rendering.
children fat is an ingredient in the spell for flying
Unbaptised ones. I know that movie 🦇
You put a bowl out there like you would for animals and the animals came. 🤷♀️
Aww that means you do have a soft spot.
Sure, it just lasts about 32 seconds.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a trick or treater.
It’s a bit half arsed isn’t it? Here’s a bowl. Take one. It’s an honesty system. Meanwhile I’m gonna be on the couch.
Get up when you hear the doorbell. Compliment the kids costume. Give them a treat. Repeat. Not hard.
A bit like when you buy horse poo for $2 from the side of the road. It builds community and a sense of trust.
Exactly
