    I would wait a few days. You don’t want to seem desperate. I know it’s stupid, but that’s the way it is.

    When you speak to HR, just ask if they have narrowed down the applicants.

      I was thinking I’d call the contact person that would be the manager of the role. I’ll wait until the middle of the week and I can use that time to draft what I’d present to them
