I settled on a night light being the only source of light in my bathroom and have got used to very dimly lit night showers/bathroom trips. Works really well as it doesn’t hurt my eyes whenever I walk into the bathroom overnight and I also don’t stub my toes as often as I wound in pure darkness. Might be worth looking into getting one as it can be easy to misplace a torch.

Unfortunately my toilet doesn’t actually have a Power point. My bathroom had one installed at my request a few months ago, but I didn’t think to ask to have one installed in my toilet. It could possibly be an issue though, as the toilet is a separate room that’s quite small, and has a sink that takes up almost a whole wall. I don’t know what the standards are for power points in bathrooms, but I don’t think it would be possible to keep the power point safe from splashing unless placed up inconveniently high (we have tall roofs, and the sink is already uncomfortably high)
