About to speak to the company now. This is when I have to tell them about the police check. Here we go.
Mentally, I’ve accepted that I’ll be disquialified for the role, but it was great getting the experience!
Edit: Not looking good. Because of the type of client this company has a contract with, anything on a police check is bad news. The guy was nice, and is still going to double check, but yeah. No luck this time again.
Edit 2: confirmed no luck. Cannot have anything on police check. Fuck.
I think it’s the right thing to do, but choose your words carefully. It could be the difference between looking like an active problem or achieving issue overcome.

Best to fess up BEFORE they find out on their own. I would still pursue getting your record wiped though.
Definitely. That’s always been my way of doing things.
Any update to the situation?
No luck. Can’t have anything on my record whatsoever. Really sucks. But it is what it is.
oh bugger, I’m so sorry to hear :(
I wish you better luck next time.
Thanks :) At least I know I interview well.
Well shite.
