    husband’s folks are coming for dinner, I checked with him, i called them “your folks” , first time I ever called them that. Thing is they treat me like crap, always have, they truly are not my folks

      Get them to do the washing up, sit there silence judging them :) With your eyes “that’s not where that goes”.

        I will do it, they break things accidentally on purpose. Also, after that I can just ignore them and do some embroidery. Tired of entertaining them.

          Oh wow. That’s unreal that they break things on purpose.

          I’d never have them over for dinner in that case. Sounds like it’s just going to be an unpleasant time.

              Can you outsource things and go to a restaurant when you have to see them, instead? At least they wouldn’t be in your house that way
