Went to check out my local Anytime today. Was very small and apartment gym like. They only had one PT that worked there as well. Their machines were decent though.

Council gym is the same price plus you get access to the pool and classes. But it isn’t 24 hours and doesn’t have the option to go to any club, which I’m not sure I’ll need anyway. This gym also gives you a personalised program and when I went there, they seemed pretty friendly.

    I’m thinking the council gym?

Also scheduled a psych appt and could only get one for a month from now.

And I’m waiting to hear if my uni will give me extensions for my assignments because rotting in bed for three weeks has made it really difficult to do anything.

After trying a bunch of local gyms, ended up signing up for the council one. Equipment gets fixed quickly. Staff always on hand. Very clean and modern. No dickheads and show offs.

Even had a staff member tell some ‘influencer’ that recording is not allowed without the consent of everyone else around.

I always like the option of a 24 hour gym, but in reality I’m never there outside of the “regular” hours (except maybe early evening Saturdays). Pool and classes would tip me over the edge until the rate is crazy high.

Good on you for getting the pysch appt booked!
