When all the servos in one area are selling petrol for the same price. It’s not collusion just a coincidence alright.

Remember that “failed experiment” fuel watch? Well, it started in WA and never left. The servos obviously hate it, but they’re forced to publish tomorrow’s prices online by 11pm, and must stay at that price the whole day.

That means you can go to the Fuel Watch site, open map view and it’ll highlight the cheapest fuel today and tomorrow if it’s evening.

Pretty sure we have cheaper fuel as a result. It’s something about WA that I missed living in Melbourne, and you’ve reminded me that I take it for granted now that I have it back.

I used to work in the fuel industry. All their point of sales systems are synced for a particular company so they can fidget with pricing in real time.
