I used to shop at particular stores… ahem mostly gothic, but they’ve all pretty much disappeared throughout the city. So I’ve resorted to buying stuff on Etsy and yeah, apparently people that are buying them have legs that resemble twiggy sticks. Even if I get slightly larger waist sizes and just chuck on a belt it doesn’t work.
Easy, get jeans (or chinos) with elastene. Absolute game changers.
I’ve got tree trunk legs and love the stretchy type pants.

I think you may need to go big box retail, unfortunately.
Or take up sowing… and find my own time to do so… egh, big box it is.
