Is it an option to wear a men’s hoodie? A lot of the time women’s clothes are a lot thinner and crappier for the exact same thing.

If you don’t overheat in them maybe you could also try some thermals or woolen spencers, or a belly band. There are also heated vests made for warehouse workers

You’re right you know; I wear men’s trackies because in general I found they’re warmer, better made and cheaper. So I wouldn’t have a problem wearing men’s hoodies.

I hate the men’s vs women’s clothing quality thing so much. It’s so prevalent in work wear as well. Sadly by having a rather “womanly” figure men’s clothes usually feel like arse on me.

“It’s so prevalent in work wear as well.”

It really is! I really noticed when I decided to buy nonslip steel caps for work… the women’s ones had pink details (because that’s so important🙄) but were obviously not as well made, and as for the “nonslip” sole… guffaws derisively

Omg, work boots are the WORST. I have two pairs of She Wears from a while ago and they’re better than most but still not great (granted, I have disproportionately thin ankles). No way I’m wrecking my feet with poorly fitting, overly heavy men’s boots or shit quality women’s boots that were clearly an afterthought.

In this case, being a largish person with ankles like tree stumps and feet like boats is actually working in my favour for once! Although I still lament not being able to even try on most of the adorable and petite women’s shoes I see sighs

It sucks. They’re mostly too big for me or it would be open season. Boy’s clothes are better for that but you still have to try them on
