Back when I was in cancer treatment, a few people (actually quite a lot of people) recommended turmeric tea/capsules to help settle a very disturbed digestive system. I took ONE dose and was spitting/shitting bright yellow for several days. This never happened when I cook with fresh turmeric root which I actually like. Stick with the real thing I reckon.
I cook with it all the time. Just found these in the cupboard and thought why the heck not?
