Passport photos acquired. Surprisingly painless. I love the people at the new LPO, they’re so lovely and efficient!
Edit: actually I looked at my photo and it looks like I’ve got an ever so slightly smirk. Not too pronounced, it’s certainly not a smile. But enough that if somebody was intentionally choosing to be a dick could call it non neutral. There’s also a few Tufts of hair that blew into my face on the walk over. Hope they’re not dicks about that either
I’ll never forgive auspost for trying to relentlessly up-sell me the express passport. I did it just normally, it took 4 days and saved a few hunj lol. Sneaky!

I paid for express passport replacement because I didn’t have enough points of ID for COVID benefit payments.
I then had a change of policy at work and didn’t get much benefits after all. The benefits barely covered the cost of the passport.
Then, because of the change of policy at work, I got pushed into the next tax bracket and had to pay back the benefits plus more.
I should have just burned some Annual Leave and not bothered with the COVID benefit payments at all.
