Damn good point. My current studio pc is a 5600x 32gb ram and an rtx 2070 with some m2 ssds.

Say I was to build a higher spec studio pc, would my current one be enough for gaming?

Ps5 pro will cost way more than just 1200. It doesn’t even come with a disc drive so that has to be purchased separately.

If you for some reason want a stand too you need to shell out extra for it.

I think personally it’s the worst upgrade to come out ever.

I’m disappointed that it doesn’t come with a disc drive. To me that’s insane and a blatant cash grab.

That’s a heck of a studio PC. I think it would work fine, you may need to upgrade the graphics card depending on what you want to play but you don’t have to go top spec there

I’m going to upgrade to an AM5 CPU and up the ram to 64gb. The virtual instruments I use eat up insane amounts of ram. For example, 1 drumkit can take upto 15gb of ram.

But cheers, I reckon this will do nicely for a loungeroom gaming pc.
